We are excited to see there is a significant update to the Adobe Connect Mobile  web conferencing app for tablets ( iOS, android, blackberry playbook)  and smartphones (iOS and android). Previously you were only able to participate but can now host meetings allowing you to control meeting access, permissions and activities from your mobile device. Also updated is the video quality, the user interface and navigation all up making the app much cleaner and easier to use.

Mark Upton, specialist coach for the Adelaide crows, approached webqem for advice on how to solve their issues around reviewing game footage. Previously players and coaches had to watch the game together to gather feed back, which didn’t make efficient use of their time. The solution was eLearning, using Adobe Flash Media Server, LiveCycle Collaboration Service, Connect and Adobe Captivate Mark has created a remote access training environment and conduct regular training with interactive opportunities.

As a result, the Adelaide Football Club have streamlined access to training, greater flexibility for the team players and coaches to meet and discuss strategies in real time and improve retention of training information.

Webqem attended the AHRI National Convention in Melbourne on the 10^th and 11^th May. It is the biggest HR and people management event in the Asia Pacific region. We had the opportunity to share new ideas and converse with HR professionals from all over the world.

At the exhibition we demonstrated Adobe Connect and of the shelf training with Adobe eLearning suite. Many delegates from the event were very interested in how they could cut down travel costs with Adobe Connect and create eLearning experiences that engage audiences with interactivity, video, audio, and powerful visuals.  These products have been proven successful, especially in the current economic climate.
