webqem at the AHRI 2010 convention

Friday, May 21st, 2010 [ Posted by Thomas T ]

Webqem attended the AHRI National Convention in Melbourne on the 10th and 11th May. It is the biggest HR and people management event in the Asia Pacific region. We had the opportunity to share new ideas and converse with HR professionals from all over the world.

At the exhibition we demonstrated Adobe Connect and of the shelf training with Adobe eLearning suite. Many delegates from the event were very interested in how they could cut down travel costs with Adobe Connect and create eLearning experiences that engage audiences with interactivity, video, audio, and powerful visuals.  These products have been proven successful, especially in the current economic climate.

webqem would like to thank AHRI for inviting us and allowing us to share our opinions and expertise. We look forward to attending next year.

2 Jam-packed days at The Online Retailer 2009

Wednesday, August 26th, 2009 [ Posted by Nicholas B ]

webqem stand

A packed venue with plenty of attendees, and IT companies both big and small,  is what greeted the webqem team when they turned up to the Online Retailer Expo and Conference 2009. Huge companies such as IBM & eBay stood next door to our webqem stand, but failed to scare the brilliant webqem team! Almost 3000 people attended, making the Online Retailer the second largest eCommerce retailing event IN THE WORLD, second only to the giant Internet Retailer event held annually in the US.

The webqem stand was constantly swamped with attendees that were attracted by the allure of a spinning ski boot! Attendees showed high interest in all of webqem’s services – web design & development, software, training, and Connect Pro. One service, in particular, stood out from the bunch, the  new single source imaging engine – Maxoom. webqem is likely to exhibit at next years event as the two days were very successful and most enjoyable.
