For the August ACUGA meeting, we were joined by Terry Shane – the President and founder of Refined Data Solutions. Terry showed us the synchronization and automation that can occur between two completely different systems: Adobe Connect Pro and Moodle. Terry’s company has developed a level of integration between the two systems that is “unmatched”. It is so well integrated, that students would never see the Connect system, only the Moodle interface.

The two systems work so well together, it must be magic! No, its just a great piece of technology that has enabled the two systems to work together. For more details check out the recording, or click on the image.

2009 SBCF Rugby Long Lunch

Wednesday, July 15th, 2009 [ Posted by Sarah H ]

The 2009 Sydney Breast Cancer Foundation Rugby Long Lunch was once again supported by the team here at webqem. Held on Friday 10th July, it was a sold out event with over 700 guests filling the grand ballroom at Sydney’s Hilton Hotel.

The global financial recession did not deter the collective group of supporters from digging deep with over $200,000 of much needed funds raised!

Special guests included Phil Kearns, George Gregan and Matthew Bourke, who candidly shared their career highlights with an attentive audience and Sir Nicholas Shehadie who on the contrast shared with us all what it was like to be a Wallaby in the 1940′s and 1950′s.

It was an extroadinary event organised to perfection, can’t wait for the 2010 rugby long lunch!

Using campaign tracking in Adobe Connect Events

Wednesday, October 17th, 2007 [ Posted by Andrew M ]

The Event module for Adobe Connect allows you to track Event registrations by campaign URL, giving you the ability to determine campaign effectiveness through analysing the sources of your registrations.

When managing an event you select the “Enable Campaign Tracking” option from the Registration Questions page to activate this option, then locate the URL for the registration page.

Copy the URL and modify the address, adding “?campaign-id=” to the end with an additional unique identifier and use that new URL in any correspondence you use for the campaign’s registration pages.

This process is explained in further detail in an Adobe TechNote: http://www.adobe.com/go/c886a790
